Toronto man Jeremy Mizu was denied service at (Yonge & Eg in Toronto) for being gay and was called a “faggot”. Local LGBTQ rights advocate Rob Gill shared the resulting video with his more than 13,000 followers on Saturday morning, writing that Mizu had been denied service at Gino's Pizza 'for being gay,' and that a homophobic slur had been used. The customer in question, Jeremy Mizu, filmed the intense altercation at Gino's Pizza in the Yonge and Eglinton neighbourhood on Friday night. A pizza chain with more than 100 locations across Ontario is coming under fire this week as video footage circulates of an employee in Toronto allegedly harassing a customer for being gay.
